The rich
aren't really any different from the average man or woman. As a
group, the wealthy aren't necessarily better educated or better
connected or smarter than the rest of the population. Wealthy people
are people just like you and me, of average intelligence, from all
walks of life who happened to know or have learned about building
wealth.
So what is it then that allows them to succeed at making money when
the average person doesn't?
There are actually some special skills that rich people use to excel
at creating wealth. And these particular mindsets are easily
learned, but are seldom used effectively but the rest of the
population. They are listed as follows:
Positivity
Positive thinking will create new positive ideas, new opportunities,
new creative energy. Positivity attracts other positive individuals
and allows a person to see more possible solutions. It's very
important to continue to remain positive throughout this process,
because like attracts like. That's equally true with negativity.
Negative thinking and negative expectation will pretty much
guarantee that you'll sabotage your money making process.
Setting Goals
The person who intends to make money must have a plan with a
definite outcome. After all, how can you aim for something huge like
huge financial wealth and have no idea how you plan to have it come
about? You don't need to know all the details, but at least know
where you want to be and how you plan to get there. So put together
a goal that is so inspiring and exciting that you won't allow
anything to get in the way of this all-encompassing dream - A goal
that will absolutely drive you to succeed.
Making Plans
Once you have your goal set up and you know where you intend to be
and when you you expect to get there, the next step is to start
making plans for its accomplishment. You can use story-boarding, you
can work backward from the eventual outcome, or just make
step-by-step plans. Whatever process you use to organize your
thoughts into plans, this is one of the most crucial steps, because
putting things on paper tends to imprint them into the mind and make
them more real. It also gives you a process to keep you on track.
Intention
If wealth building is the goal, then you need to know exactly where
you're going, how you're going to get there and then commit 100% to
the effort with a complete determination to succeed. The goal to
make money must become an intention that will drive you to overcome
whatever obstacles you encounter. No-one ever made money without
facing some adversities.
Self-confidence
Success is what you strive for in wealth creation. It's the ultimate
goal of financial success. Success means something different for
each individual, but whatever it is, you need to put it into words
so that you can look at it as a measure of your money-making
success. Financial success, as with most other success endeavors can
sometimes include risk, which can be frightening for some people.
Remaining self-confident in your expectation of wealth, and
self-confident in your ability to manage that wealth and the wealth
creating strategies is what will carry you through the process.
Above all, don't wait until "you've arrived" to enjoy your life.
Some people spend their whole life accumulating wealth and plan that
"When I'm really wealthy I'll take that trip, or take time to enjoy
the family . . " and somehow their life has slipped by and they
never took time to smell the roses.
Take time now! While you're accumulating your wealth, make the time
to do things that you enjoy. Enjoy your family and friends. Enjoy
nature. Revel in this wonderful universe.
Before
you know it your efforts will have paid off and you'll be R-R-R-R-ICH!.
